A Little About Me
Thank you for coming to my site, my name is Michelle Long. I am a "mature woman" in other words, I'm 50+
a wife to David and a mother to two grown children. My background includes management and outside sales. Many prayers were spoken asking God how I could get out of this field and into a fitness related business and make a living. Well God must have known I wasn't going to move myself, so he moved me. Immediately I knew it was God's answer to my prayers.
I had already begun my training career as a side hustle, now I just needed to help it grow to something that would provide a comfortable living for me and my family.
I began training with a Bootcamp called Camp Gladiator (CG), offering outdoor Boot Camps for every fitness level where the mission is "To Positively Impact the Physical Fitness and Ultimately the Lives of As Many People as Possible." Now I'm offering more in the form of personal one-on-one or small group training to expand my own brand.

Why I Train?
Physical Fitness has often been more of a mental connection than a physical one for me. When I first started exercising, it was because I knew it was something healthy to do for my body. But the more I trained, it also became an outlet for stress relief. If you have ever boxed or hit a punching bag, you probably know exactly what I mean! Imagine the worst day of your life and then use that to fuel yourself punching the bag, that's what I mean by stress relief.
What I can Do For You!
My goal is to provide you with an exercise program catered just for YOU!
That's right, after we discuss your needs and goals, a workout is designed around your abilities. We're not just talking about losing 30, 40, 50+ pounds. This is about learning to move and feeling better about your body and what it is capable of.
I can promise you, that no pill, no book and no other "thing" in life is going to make you feel the way exercise and doing something healthy for yourself is going to make you feel!
In fact, science states that exercise releases "feel good" endorphins in your brain. It also has positive effects on your cardiovascular system, digestive system and immune system - hello Covid!
Exercise is important in every aspect of life. If God has given you the ability to walk and move around freely, then it's my belief that you should take advantage of that and move your body.
Extra's
You may be wondering where the Faith part of things come into play?
Well, In another blog I will share my testimony with you, but for now let me tell you how incorporating faith into an exercise program works. As mentioned earlier, exercise does so much more than physical, it helps mentally as well. This can also be true of Spiritual stress relief. In my programs, I offer scriptures to help you connect with God and further release any stress or negativity going on in your life.
Thank you again for being here and for allowing me to share with you. I look forward to connecting with you and helping you reach your fitness goals and feel better about yourself in the body God gave you!
Until next time, your Faithful Fitness Friend,
Michelle

2 Cor. 12:10
That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
